The Activities and Information Centre (AIC) is your source for information and where you can book or purchase tickets for all the different activities available at Sun Peaks Resort.

The AIC is located in the Village Day Lodge and is open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily during the winter season (hours may vary during early and late season). The AIC can also be reached by calling (250) 578-5542.

Sun Peaks Resort is a 3,600-acre playground full of limitless possibilities. Tour the area on a snowmobile or see it from behind a team of sled dogs – you won’t find a more enthusiastic team of tour guides! Or try a snowshoe tour for the chance to tip-toe through the foliage and see a side of the resort usually reserved for the area’s wildlife. At Sun Peaks, you don’t have to go far to have fun: The Kids Adventure Park, horsedrawn sleigh rides and tubing are all located near the village. Kids can try out Mini-Z snowmobiles or fly down the mountain on a cushion of air in the new slopeside Tube Park. For something a little different, hitch a ride in one of our grooming machines. Our Cat Trax program is one of few that lets you be part of the action. And when it’s all said and done, nothing is more relaxing than time spent in a hot tub or outdoor pool at the Sports Centre.
 
Your chance to experience a truly “Northern” activity. Hook up and race your own team of Alaska Huskies through the glistening white snow of Sun Peaks. Our professional guides will give you a complete rundown on everything you need to know before you are on your way. Our “Have a Howl” trip last approximately 1 hour and includes about 30 minutes of actual mushing time. The “Wilderness Trek” lasts approximately 2 hours and mushes over 12km of wilderness. Great fun for the whole family, we advise you do book early as this activity does book up fast.
The minimum age to race your own team is 14. Tours depart Tuesday through Sunday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Ask about custom tours and corporate races. Subject to a 7 day cancellation policy. Sleds can accommodate up to 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children. Max 350 pounds.
 
The perfect chance to get back in touch with nature while getting some fresh air and exercise. We are happy to offer rentals, guided tours, moonlight guided tours and our snowshoe fondue which consists of a guided snowshoe tour followed by an amazing fondue dinner and dessert. Tours depart Thurs-Mon at 1:30PM, and even more often during the holiday seasons. For those wishing to rent snow shoes and explore the trails on their own, please feel free to stop by the Activities and Information centre to pick up a pair and hit the trails.
 
For those seeking thrill and adventure we are happy to offer exciting snowmobile tours. With a variety of choices we have tours available for both individual thrill seekers and families as well. You can also sign up for our nightly wiener roast, where you will get to go on an evening tour complete with a campfire cookout. Go by yourself or double up on a sled.
2 hour tours depart daily at 8:30AM, 11:30AM and 2:30PM, 4 hour tours depart daily at 9AM and noon. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Insurance: $20/Person. Equipment is included. Subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy.
 
Enjoy the snow covered trails of our beautiful village as you relax to the jingle of sleigh bells.
Sleigh rides depart daily at 5PM, 6PM, 6.45PM and 7.30PM and run for approximately half an hour. Children age 3 and under free ride with adult. Warm blankets are provided. Payable at time of booking.
 
No need to be a skier or snowboarder to enjoy all the mountains have to offer. Your personal chauffeur takes you for a comfortable on mountain
ride on the Snow Limo. Join your family or group on the mountain.
 
Book some time with one of Sun Peaks professional photographers. Action shots & family scenic shots are available. There are no set departure times, tours are booked subject to guests requests and availability. Booking fee is refundable if guests are not fully satisfied. Subject to a
48 hour cancellation policy.
 
Ever wonder how fresh snow becomes the groomed corduroy on your favorite run? This is your chance to witness it first hand by joining one of our award winning groomers as they work their magic. Tours are available in the evening only. Must be booked by 3:00 PM, maximum 1 person
per machine. Minimum age is 14 years. All bookings are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy.
DEPT: Daily 5:00, 6:00 & 7:00PM
DURATION: Rides are 45 min. long, return
 
If you can ride a bike, you can snowbike. With a two hour lesson you are well on your way of perfecting this fun activity.
 
This is a great introduction to back country skiing/boarding and it can be done right here at Sun Peaks Resort. Ride the chair to Top of The World to start your cat ski back country ski or board experience. Participants can expect to get from 7-12 runs on fresh untouched powder on one of our full day trips. Full day adventure includes an experienced guide, lunch & safety equipment. Chairlift ticket must be purchased separately for $15.00 unless they have another pass they would like to use.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
All guests must sign a release of liability waiver at time of registration. Reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Minimum age: 10 years old. Must be an intermediate to advanced skier and be comfortable in powder. Subject to a 7 day cancellation policy.
